Overview
The Comelit UT9191 is a surface-mounted rain shield designed to protect a single Ultra module mounted on an outdoor wall. Constructed from anodised aluminium (grey finish), it measures 116 x 112 x 57 mm and provides weather protection for entrance panel equipment exposed to direct rain and environmental spray. This housing is purpose-built for Comelit Ultra entrance panel systems where surface-wall mounting is the installation method.

The UT9191 is engineered for use with Comelit Ultra entrance panel modules configured for surface-wall mounting. It accommodates a single module within its 116 x 112 x 57 mm envelope. Verify your specific Ultra panel model and module type against Comelit documentation before ordering, as entrance panel configurations vary. The housing does not alter electrical characteristics of the connected module — PoE or auxiliary power passes through to the mounted equipment unchanged.
Installation Notes
Surface-wall mounting requires secure fastening to a structural substrate (masonry, metal, or composite panel). Anodised aluminium construction provides corrosion resistance in coastal and industrial environments but does not make the housing suitable for full submersion or constant water immersion. Ensure drainage holes are not obstructed during installation. Route power and signal cables through cable entry points to maintain the rain shield's protective integrity. Inspect the aluminium finish periodically in harsh salt-air or chemical-spray environments, as anodising can degrade under extreme exposure.
