Overview
The Comelit UT9199 is a surface-mounted rainshield enclosure designed to protect a 9-module Ultra entrance panel from direct weather exposure. Built from anodised aluminium in grey, it accommodates three rows of three modules side-by-side — a standard layout for multi-unit residential or small commercial entry installations. This housing eliminates the need for flush-mounted or conduit-based protection, making it the right choice when you need to retrofit weather protection onto an existing wall-mounted panel installation without structural modification.
Compatibility
The UT9199 is purpose-built for Comelit Ultra entrance panels configured with 9 modules (3×3 layout). It does not accept other manufacturers' panels or non-Ultra Comelit models. Confirm your existing or planned panel is a 9-module Ultra configuration before ordering — mismatched module counts will not align properly. The housing is designed for outdoor wall mounting where rainfall, wind-blown moisture, and sun exposure are concerns; it is not suitable for fully submerged or high-pressure wash environments.
Installation Notes
Surface mounting requires wall fasteners appropriate to your substrate (masonry, wood, metal). The housing dimensions are 338mm wide × 293mm tall × 57mm deep — verify clearance around your installation point before commitment. The anodised aluminium finish is corrosion-resistant but not stainless steel; in coastal or chemical-heavy environments, inspect periodically for oxidation. Wiring and module connections remain accessible from behind the housing face, but plan your conduit entry points before final fastening.
