Overview
The Code Blue SLNH0016 is a cloud activation kit built to bridge on-premises Code Blue security systems with cloud-based remote management and monitoring. Running on PoE (802.3af) power, it eliminates the need for dedicated power circuits — a real advantage when retrofitting into existing network infrastructure. With an IP68 environmental rating, the SLNH0016 operates reliably in both standard and high-moisture deployment environments typical of commercial security installations, including outdoor cabinets and equipment rooms where condensation or spray is a factor.
Compatibility
The SLNH0016 integrates with Code Blue security platforms and IP-based network deployments. It supports ONVIF protocols, enabling integration into standard video management systems (VMS) that support ONVIF Profile S/T/G. Deploy it as a bridge between on-premises recorders or edge devices and cloud infrastructure where your monitoring or backup architecture requires remote connectivity. Requires standard PoE switch ports with 802.3af capability (minimum 13W available per port).
Installation Notes
Install the SLNH0016 in a network-accessible location with PoE switch connectivity. Verify that your PoE switch has sufficient power budget — 802.3af provides up to 13W per port, which covers this device. Confirm network routing and firewall rules allow outbound HTTPS traffic on port 443 (or your configured management port) to your cloud endpoint. Mount in a clean, dry cabinet or on-wall enclosure if deployed in moisture-prone spaces — IP68 rating handles moisture ingress, but prolonged submersion (below water level) is not supported.
