Description

Panduit UTP6AX12MBU Patch Cord

Overview

The Panduit UTP6AX12MBU is a 12-meter (39.4 ft), Category 6A UTP patch cord designed for high-speed data transmission up to 10 Gb/s. Its 24 AWG solid conductor construction and shielded design help limit alien crosstalk, ensuring signal integrity for demanding network applications. The tangle-free latch mechanism simplifies installation and maintenance by preventing snags and enabling fast release, which is critical for efficient moves, adds, and changes in structured cabling systems. This cord is also equipped with pre-installed barcodes for use with Panduit's RapidID system, streamlining cable management and port mapping.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards, making it suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet deployments. It is rated for 2500 mating cycles with IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt (Type 3 and Type 4) Power over Ethernet standards, ensuring reliable power delivery to PoE-enabled devices without performance degradation. It meets ANSI/TIA-1096-A requirements and IEC 60603-7 specifications.

Installation Notes

The cable has a CM flammability rating, suitable for use in non-plenum riser applications. Its diameter is 0.250 inches (6.4mm). The tangle-free latch design requires a simple push to release, avoiding the need for special tools, but care should be taken to avoid excessive force that could damage the latch mechanism.
