Overview

The Panduit UTP28X3VL is a 3-foot Cat6A UTP patch cord designed for high-speed Ethernet applications in data centers. Its 28 AWG solid conductor construction and compact 0.185-inch diameter simplify installation and cable management, particularly in dense environments. The integrated tangle-free latch ensures a secure connection and easy release, streamlining moves, adds, and changes. Pre-installed RapidID barcodes facilitate quick port mapping with compatible software.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered for 10GBASE-T Ethernet and supports data center I/O consolidation, server virtualization, backbone aggregation, and high-speed computing. It meets ANSI/TIA-1096-A and IEC 60603-7 standards. For Power over Ethernet (PoE), it supports IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at (up to 48 cables in a bundle), and 802.3bt types 3 and 4 (up to 24 cables in a bundle), ensuring reliable power delivery to connected devices without compromising network performance.

Constructed with a CM/LSZH (Communications Multipurpose/Low Smoke Zero Halogen) flammability rating, this cable is suitable for installations requiring reduced fire propagation and smoke emission.
