Description

Panduit UTP6AX10 Cat 6A 10 ft UTP Patch Cord

Overview

The Panduit UTP6AX10 is a 10-foot, Cat 6A UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) patch cord designed for high-speed data transmission up to 10 Gb/s. Constructed with 24 AWG solid copper conductors and a CM-rated jacket, this cable ensures reliable performance for critical network infrastructure, including data centers and enterprise environments. Its solid foil tape construction limits alien crosstalk, a common issue with high-speed Ethernet, guaranteeing signal integrity. The integrated RapidID barcodes simplify network management by enabling quick port identification with compatible software.

Compatibility

This UTP6AX10 patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards, supporting frequencies up to 500 MHz. It is fully compatible with 10GBASE-T Ethernet and all IEEE 802.3bt Type 3 and Type 4 Power over Ethernet (PoE++) applications, delivering up to 90W of power. The cable adheres to both T568A and T568B wiring schemes, ensuring broad compatibility with existing network hardware and structured cabling systems from Panduit and other manufacturers.

Installation Notes

The UTP6AX10 features a tangle-free latch on its RJ45 modular plugs, which prevents snags during installation and ensures a secure connection that is easily released when needed, streamlining moves, adds, and changes. The cable has a diameter of 0.250 inches (6.4 mm). Its CM (Communications) flammability rating indicates suitability for use in riser pathways within commercial buildings. UL File E129886 confirms compliance with safety standards.
