Overview
The Panduit CC688BU is a Cat 6 UTP RJ45 coupler module designed to extend or join existing network cables. It's built for environments requiring reliable, high-performance data transmission, particularly in structured cabling systems where cable runs may need to be combined. This module is 100% factory tested to exceed industry standards, ensuring consistent performance for critical network infrastructure. The blue color aids in visual identification within cable management systems.
Compatibility
This coupler module is compatible with Panduit Mini-Com Modular Patch Panels and Faceplates, allowing for seamless integration into existing Panduit cabling infrastructure. It supports up to 2 couplers per channel and is designed to exceed the channel requirements of ANSI/TIA-568.2-D and ISO 11801 standards for the respective category. It meets IEC 60603-7 specifications.
Installation Notes
Contacts are plated with 50 microinches of gold to provide superior performance and ensure long-term reliability. The CC688BU supports 2500 connection cycles and is compliant with IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt Type 3 and Type 4 PoE standards, meaning it can pass Power over Ethernet up to the highest power levels without issue. This ensures it won't be a bottleneck for PoE-powered devices. It is also UL 1863 and UL 2043 compliant and RoHS compliant.
