Overview
The CM-120i is a flush-mount digital keypad that operates either standalone or integrated via Wiegand protocol into larger access control systems. It stores up to 999 user PIN codes with variable-length entries (1–8 digits), delivering audible and visual feedback on each press. This unit addresses the installation need for flexible door control without backend infrastructure — run it standalone for a storage closet, safe room, or pool area, or feed Wiegand output to a compatible controller for multi-door management and audit logging.
Compatibility
Operates standalone with any electrically locked door equipped with electric strikes, magnetic locks, or electric lock bodies. In Wiegand mode, integrates with access control systems and third-party controllers that accept standard Wiegand input. Verify your existing controller supports Wiegand termination before deployment; on-board full Wiegand termination with variable protocols accommodates most systems. Note: Wiegand mode disables wired relay outputs, REX, and door contact inputs, so choose your operating mode (standalone or networked) during installation planning.
Installation Notes
Single-gang stainless steel flush-mount faceplate suitable for indoor or outdoor deployment. Operating voltage: 12/24V AC or DC — confirm your power supply matches this range. Unit includes two independent 3-amp Form C relays for door strike and optional alarm or secondary device control; time delay is user-programmable from 1–255 seconds. Integrated request-to-exit (REX) input and door contact input enable anti-tailgating and door-open alarm configuration in standalone mode. Backlit, weatherproof keypad with vandal-resistant metal construction handles moderate environmental stress but is not rated for full submersion or extreme temperature swings — check site conditions before outdoor placement.
