Camden CX-DE1215 1 x 1.5" Angle Bracket
Overview
The CX-DE1215 is a 1 x 1.5" angle bracket designed to mount and align magnetic lock strike hardware in access control installations. Use this bracket to securely position the Camden CX-DE1200 series magnetic lock at the door frame, ensuring repeatable striker alignment with the armature plate on the door. The bracket accepts 24VDC-powered delayed egress locks and is sized for single-door installations where precise mounting geometry prevents strike binding and loss of holding force.
Compatibility
The CX-DE1215 mounts the Camden CX-DE1200 single-door delayed egress magnetic lock models (CX-DE1200-N1, CX-DE1200-N2, CX-DE1200-N3, CX-DE1200-N4, CX-DE1200-B1, CX-DE1200-B2, CX-DE1200-B3). The bracket is designed for access control systems using proximity card readers and 24VDC strike power. It fits standard wood and metal door frame profiles where the strike must be offset perpendicular to the frame surface. Not compatible with the CX-DE1220 double-door models.
Installation Notes
Mount the bracket to the door frame using fasteners appropriate to frame material (wood screws for wood frames, self-drilling screws or anchors for metal). Ensure the bracket is level before tightening to avoid striker misalignment. The 1 x 1.5" profile provides sufficient standoff for electrical connections to the lock solenoid without kinking cables. Verify clearance between the mounted bracket and the door swing to prevent interference when the door is fully opened. The bracket does not include fasteners—supply appropriate hardware for your frame type.
