Compatibility
The CX-MA1213 bracket is compatible with Camden CX-91 series magnetic locks rated at 1200 lbs. (CX-91S-12 surface mount and CX-91M-12 mortise mount variants). It supports 24VDC magnetic lock operation and works in tandem with any TCP/IP-connected access control system—the bracket itself is a passive mechanical component, so it integrates with all major controllers (card readers, biometric systems, wireless release devices) that trigger the lock.
Installation Notes
The CX-MA1213 bracket mounts directly to standard door frame material using the included metal mounting template to ensure precise hole placement. Fasteners are not included in the bracket kit—specify grade 8 or stainless steel lag bolts or machine screws sized for your frame material (wood, steel, or composite). Verify frame thickness and composition before ordering; the bracket is dimensioned for typical 1.75-inch door frames. Do not over-torque fasteners on composite or fiberglass frames—follow the lock manufacturer's installation guide for torque limits by frame type.
