Camden CX-CL-LZBRK L&Z Magnetic Lock Bracket
Overview
The CX-CL-LZBRK is an L&Z mounting bracket for 600 lb. magnetic lock strike assemblies. The dual-plane design accommodates both vertical (L-plane) and horizontal (Z-plane) installation surfaces — frame and header simultaneously — eliminating the need to choose between them. Deploy this when your door frame geometry requires mounting flexibility or when you're retrofitting a frame that has limited space in a single plane.
Compatibility
Designed for Camden CX-91S and CX-92S series 600 lb. magnetic locks. The bracket mounts directly to the lock strike and door frame hardware. Verify your strike assembly model before ordering — this bracket does not fit the 1,200 lb. series (those use CX-MA1213 or CX-MA1213-BK). If you require an all-black finish, specify the CX-MA0613-BK variant instead.
Installation Notes
Standard door frame installation using existing mounting holes on the strike. Frame preparation should account for both L and Z plane positioning — the bracket is rigid once installed, so verify alignment before final fastening. Filler plates (1/2", 3/8", or 5/8") are sold separately (CX-MA0614 series) and compensate for frame thickness variations. Spacer plates (CX-MA0614-25, 1" depth) are also available if your application requires separation between bracket and frame. No electrical connections required — this is passive mechanical hardware. Standard hand tools and a drill are sufficient for mounting.
