Overview

The CX-MA1214-25D is a 1-inch spacer plate designed to accommodate standard frame geometry when installing Camden's 1200 lb capacity magnetic lock systems. This accessory fills the gap between the magnetic lock body and the door frame, ensuring proper strike plate alignment and consistent holding force across the full strike surface. Use this when your frame rabbet depth or door-frame assembly doesn't allow direct mounting without compromising magnetic contact or creating binding.

Compatibility

Compatible with Camden CX-91 series 1200 lb magnetic locks (CX-91S-12 surface-mount and CX-91M-12 mortise-mount models). This spacer is not interchangeable with 600 lb lock variants or competing magnetic lock brands — verify your lock model before ordering. Works with both 12VDC and 24VDC field-selectable operation on the parent lock.

Installation Notes

Mount the spacer plate flush to the door frame using the same fastening points and template as the parent magnetic lock. The 1-inch thickness maintains strike plate perpendicularity without introducing rotational stress on the lock body. Ensure frame material (steel or aluminum) is sufficient to support the combined assembly and full 1200 lb static holding strength. Do not use multiple spacers in series — use only one per lock.
