Overview

The CX-MA1214-58 is a 5/8" filler plate spacer engineered for use with Camden's 1200 lb capacity magnetic locks operating at 24VDC. This accessory solves a common frame preparation problem: when door frame depth or surface mounting geometry doesn't align with the magnetic strike's bolt projection, a spacer plate bridges the gap and ensures the armature plate sits flush against the door frame. Without proper spacing, the strike won't engage fully, reducing holding force and creating alignment failure on power-up.

Compatibility

This filler plate is designed for Camden CX-91 series 1200 lb magnetic locks (1200 lb models: CX-91S-12, CX-91M-12 variants). It functions as an installation accessory for installations where the door frame surface sits inset or where the strike mounting template indicates the need for a 5/8" offset. Verify frame depth against the strike's mounting dimensions before purchase — this is a passive spacer component and does not affect the lock's electrical operation or ratings.

Installation Notes

The filler plate mounts between the door frame and the magnetic strike body using the same fasteners as the strike itself.
