Overview
The CX-PS150UL is a 12/24VDC regulated power supply rated 1.7 amps total output, designed to power electromagnetic locks, strikes, and auxiliary access control devices in multi-door installations. It splits power between two independently fused circuits — one handling the primary locking device (1 amp continuous) and a second auxiliary output (200mA) for battery charging or low-draw monitoring devices that must remain powered during fire alarm activation. This separation prevents a failed lock from starving your battery charger or control logic, a practical constraint when integrating legacy mag locks with modern networked readers.
Compatibility
The CX-PS150UL works with any electromagnetic lock or strike system rated 12VDC or 24VDC that draws up to 1 amp continuously. It includes a built-in 500mA charger for sealed lead-acid or gel-cell batteries (1–4Ah), enabling automatic fail-over to backup power during AC loss.
