The Axis 5505-521 is a pack of five U-shaped conduit adapters designed to manage cable entry on compact camera housings. Each adapter accommodates 1/2" (20mm) conduit, routing cables cleanly while reducing stress on connector terminals and shielding exposed wiring from environmental damage. This is the right accessory when you're deploying multiple compact Axis cameras in a single site and need consistent, professional-grade cable routing without custom fabrication or improvisation.

Compatibility

The 5505-521 adapters are engineered for Axis P37X-series compact domes (including P3727-PLE, P3728-PLE, P3737-PLE, P3745-LVE, P3746-LVE, P3747-PVE, P3748-PVE) and Q35X-series compact turrets (including Q3504-V, Q3505-V, Q3506-V, Q3515-LVE, Q3516-LVE, Q3517-PVE, Q3518-PVE). Installation requires no modifications to camera housings — the adapter clips onto existing 1/2" conduit entry points.

Installation Notes

Material is stainless steel 316L (X2CrNiMo17-12-2 / AISI 316L), ensuring corrosion resistance in coastal, high-humidity, and chemically treated environments — critical for outdoor and washdown-prone deployments. No tools or fasteners are required for installation. Position the U-shaped profile to guide conduit smoothly into the camera housing without sharp bends; typical bend radius is 10mm minimum. The adapter does not affect camera orientation or mounting angle.
