Overview
The APC Gaming Back-UPS BGM1500 is a 1500VA/900W Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) designed to provide clean, pure sinewave power. It offers 10 outlets, with 5 providing battery backup and surge protection, and 5 offering surge protection only. Compatibility
The BGM1500 is designed for direct connection to standard 120V AC power circuits. It is compatible with a wide range of electronic devices including gaming desktops, high-end workstations, network routers, modems, and monitors. For surveillance systems, it can power smaller NVRs and a limited number of cameras, provided the total load does not exceed 900W. It is not intended for use with high-draw appliances like refrigerators or air conditioners.
Installation Notes
Connect the UPS to a grounded wall outlet using the provided power cord. Do not use extension cords between the wall outlet and the UPS, or between the UPS and connected equipment, as this can compromise surge protection and grounding. Ensure the total connected load does not exceed the unit's 900W capacity. For optimal battery life, operate the UPS in a temperature range of 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F).
