Aiphone AXW-AVR Audio Video Adapter Receiver

Overview

The Aiphone AXW-AVR is a receiver module designed for the AX Series intercom system, enabling integration with third-party alternate transmission equipment for extended communication distances. The unit accepts composite video input and supports fiber-based connectivity, making it suitable for installations requiring longer transmission runs beyond standard Cat-5e limitations.

Compatibility

Works with AX Series video door stations and master units. Supports composite video transmission (1Vpp, NTSC standard). Relay output (N/O contact, 30V DC, 1A) and sensor input (N/C contact) provide integration flexibility. Operates over Cat-5e cabling up to 980 feet cumulative distance.

Technical Specifications

Video connectors use BNC connectors for composite signal. Wire type: Cat-5e. Includes relay control for door lock or auxiliary device integration.
