Overview
The Aiphone AT-306 is a white handset sub station designed for use with the AT-406 handset-to-handset intercom system. This sub station provides privacy-mode communication, allowing technicians and installers to deploy multi-point intercom networks where only the handset receives incoming calls from the master station. The AT-306 operates on standard 2-conductor, overall-shielded wiring and supports extended communication distances based on wire gauge selection, making it suitable for facility layouts requiring distributed communication endpoints.

Integration & Compatibility
The AT-306 is engineered as a direct sub-station component within the AT-406 system architecture. It pairs with the AT-206 white audio master station in the standard AT-406 box set configuration. Installation requires proper wire selection: Aiphone 822202 shielded 2-conductor cable is the approved specification. For longer deployments, integrators may specify 18 AWG shielded wire to extend maximum distance limits. The AT-306 does not support ring isolation to other sub stations—only master-to-sub communication paths are active, simplifying wiring and reducing cross-talk complexity.
Recommended Accessories & Wiring
For installations exceeding 2,300 feet, specify 18 AWG shielded 2-conductor wire (Aiphone part 82180210C for 1,000-foot spools or equivalent). Shorter runs may use 22 AWG shielded wire (Aiphone 82220210C). For desk-mounted installations, the MCW-S/B adjustable desk stand is compatible. Power supply requirements are handled by the master station; refer to the SKK-620C 6V DC power supply, 200mA (UL listed) for standalone configurations.
