ACTi PMAX-0808 1.5" NPT Converter Ring
Overview
The ACTi PMAX-0808 is a 1.5" NPT converter ring that adapts standard NPT-threaded mounting points for use with ACTi I93, I94, I95, and I96 series cameras. This mechanical adapter solves the integration problem when you need to mount ACTi compact dome or turret cameras onto existing 1.5" NPT conduit runs or third-party mounting hardware — common in retrofit installations where camera positions are already framed out with standard plumbing-grade threads. No electrical function; purely mechanical bridging.
Compatibility
Works with ACTi I93, I94, I95, and I96 series cameras and mounting systems. The PMAX-0808 assumes your mounting infrastructure already has a 1.5" NPT female thread — either at the end of a conduit stub, on a junction box, or on an aftermarket bracket. If your installation uses different thread sizes (1" NPT, 2" NPT, M25, M32), you will need a different converter. PoE systems (802.3af) are not affected — this adapter is passive mechanical and carries no electrical significance.
Installation Notes
The PMAX-0808 weighs 0.2 lb and is manufactured from standard materials (Taiwan-sourced). Thread it hand-tight onto the 1.5" NPT female connection, then secure the camera mounting bracket onto the adapter's male-side thread. No tools beyond a wrench (if needed for final torque) are required. Verify thread cleanliness before installation to avoid cross-threading. The adapter itself tolerates standard indoor/outdoor environments but carries no explicit environmental rating — verify compatibility with your installation enclosure or conduit system if exposed to direct water spray or extreme temperature swings.
