The Altronix NETWAY8GL is an 8-port managed midspan injector designed to deliver Power over Ethernet (PoE) to IP cameras, wireless access points, and other network devices. It consolidates power and data delivery, simplifying installation in environments requiring multiple PoE-enabled endpoints, such as large-scale surveillance systems or enterprise networks. This unit provides up to 30W per port, totaling 240W, ensuring sufficient power for high-demand devices.
This midspan injector is compatible with any IEEE 802.3af/at compliant network device. It is specifically designed to support Altronix's line of IP cameras and other PoE-powered surveillance equipment, as well as third-party devices requiring up to 30W per port. It functions as a standalone power source for devices connected via standard Ethernet cabling.
The NETWAY8GL requires a 100-240VAC, 50/60Hz input power source. It connects to the network switch via standard Ethernet ports and injects PoE onto the same cables feeding the connected devices. Ensure the total power draw of all connected devices does not exceed the unit's 240W capacity. The unit is designed for rack mounting or shelf placement within a controlled environment.
