The Panduit UTP28X7 is a 7-foot, 28 AWG Cat 6A UTP patch cord designed for high-density network environments. Its compact diameter and solid conductor construction simplify cable management in data centers and enterprise networks, supporting critical applications like 10GBASE-T Ethernet and server virtualization. The integrated tangle-free latch ensures secure connections and easy disconnection, streamlining moves, adds, and changes.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA electrical performance requirements up to 500 MHz. It is fully compatible with IEEE 802.3af/at (PoE) and 802.3bt types 3 and 4 (PoE++) applications, supporting up to 48 cables in a bundle for PoE and 24 cables for PoE++. The use of 28 AWG solid copper conductors ensures reliable data transmission for 10GBASE-T Ethernet deployments.
