Overview

The Panduit UTP28X7YL is a 7-foot Cat 6A UTP patch cord designed for high-speed Ethernet applications, including 10GBASE-T. Its 28 AWG solid conductor construction and compact 0.185-inch diameter simplify cable management in dense environments like data centers. The integrated tangle-free latch ensures secure connections and simplifies moves, adds, and changes. This cord is factory-tested for wire map, NEXT, and return loss, meeting stringent performance standards.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards, ensuring compatibility with all 10GBASE-T Ethernet networks up to 500 MHz. It supports IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt (Types 3 and 4) Power over Ethernet (PoE++) applications, delivering up to 100W of power to connected devices without performance degradation. It is wired to be compatible with both T568A and T568B configurations.

Installation Notes

Constructed with CM/LSZH rated cable, this patch cord is suitable for plenum spaces where required by code.
