Overview

The Panduit UTPCH6BUY is a 6-foot (1.83m) Cat5e UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) patch cord designed for reliable Ethernet and voice data transmission. Constructed with 24 AWG stranded copper and featuring Pan-Plug™ modular connectors, this blue cord streamlines network deployments and maintenance. Its tangle-free latch ensures quick release and prevents snagging, which is critical in dense server rack environments or during frequent moves, adds, and changes (MACs). The integrated barcode for RapidID software simplifies port mapping and asset management.

Compatibility

This patch cord supports a range of networking standards including 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T (Fast Ethernet), and 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet). It is also compatible with 155 Mb/s ATM, 622 Mb/s ATM, Token ring 4/16, voice/data systems, and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) applications. Furthermore, it meets ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 5e and ISO 11801 Class D standards and is wired for both T568A and T568B schemes. Its CM flammability rating makes it suitable for use in non-plenum vertical or general building spaces.
