Overview

The Panduit UTPSP6RDY is a 6-foot, red Category 6 Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) patch cord designed for high-performance network connections. Constructed with 24 AWG stranded copper conductors and high-performance modular plugs, it ensures reliable data transmission for applications up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet over limited distances. The integral pair manager and patented tangle-free latch simplify installation and maintenance in dense environments, while the slender strain relief boot provides easy access. This cord supports IEEE 802.3af/802.3at and 802.3bt Type 3 and Type 4 Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications, delivering power and data simultaneously without requiring separate power supplies. Its CM flammability rating makes it suitable for use in risers and general-purpose horizontal cabling.

Compatibility

This Panduit patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 standards and ISO 11801 Class E specifications up to 250 MHz. It is compatible with all standard Ethernet applications including 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T (Fast Ethernet), 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet), and 10GBASE-T over specified distances. It also supports ATM and VoIP deployments.
