Overview

The Custom America POS 41000000087900 is a 6-foot passive serial converter that connects legacy DB9 peripherals (pole displays, receipt printers, barcode scanners, customer-facing terminals) to EVO TP6 terminals equipped with RJ48 serial ports. This replaces the original POS-X part number EVO-XZ6-SC. Use this when existing DB9 infrastructure is already in place or when rewiring hardware mounted at height is impractical — it avoids forced hardware replacement on otherwise functional peripherals.

Compatibility

Designed specifically for Custom America POS EVO TP6 terminals with RJ48 (8-position modular) serial connectors. Compatible with any standard RS-232 DB9 peripheral (9-pin male or female). Before purchase, verify your legacy device's pinout — some older printers and displays use non-standard signal assignments that may not align with standard RS-232 wiring conventions.

Installation Notes
