Overview
The CyberPower AVRG900LCD is a line-interactive UPS system designed to provide battery backup and surge protection for critical electronics. It addresses the need for stable power in environments with fluctuating voltage, safeguarding desktop computers, workstations, and networking devices from data loss and hardware damage. Its compact form factor and keyhole mounting slots allow for flexible placement, including wall mounting, making it suitable for tight spaces in home offices or server closets. The AVRG900LCD model provides 900 VA / 480 W of capacity, sufficient for typical workstations and essential networking equipment.
Compatibility
This UPS is designed to protect standard desktop computers, workstations, networking devices, and home entertainment systems. It is compatible with equipment utilizing NEMA 5-15P plugs. The USB connectivity (HID Compliant) allows for integration with Windows and macOS operating systems for graceful shutdown and power management. RJ11 telephone line protection is included to safeguard modems and phone lines from surges.
Installation Notes
The unit features keyhole mounting slots for wall or surface mounting. Operating temperature is specified between 32-104°F (0-40°C). The battery is a user-replaceable 12V/9Ah sealed lead-acid type. The UPS outputs a simulated sine wave, which is suitable for most modern electronics but may not be ideal for sensitive audio equipment or some older power supplies.
