Overview
The ATEN VS194 is a 4-port DisplayPort splitter designed to duplicate a single DisplayPort source signal to four separate outputs. This device enables you to drive multiple displays from a single graphics card, making it suitable for expanding workstations or deploying digital signage. It supports both Multi-Stream Transport (MST) and Single-Stream Transport (SST) modes, offering flexibility for various display configurations. Compatibility
This splitter is compatible with any DisplayPort source device. It supports resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 or 3840 x 2160 at a 60Hz refresh rate, provided the source and displays also support these specifications. For optimal performance at maximum resolution and refresh rate, use with ATEN's 2L-7D04DP DisplayPort cable, which supports distances up to 4.6 meters.
Installation Notes
The VS194 requires a 1x DC power jack connection for operation. It is designed for rack mounting. Environmental operating conditions include 0 - 80% RH, non-condensing humidity. Ensure the operating environment stays within these parameters to maintain device reliability and performance. The maximum data rate supported is 21.6 Gbps, with 5.4 Gbps allocated per lane, ensuring high-bandwidth video transmission.
