Overview

The Panduit UTP28SP3VL is a 3-foot, 28 AWG Category 6 UTP patch cord. Its compact 0.150-inch (3.8mm) diameter and CM/LSZH rating make it suitable for installations requiring tighter bend radii and reduced flame propagation characteristics, such as in data centers, telecommunications rooms, and plenum spaces. The cord features a patented tangle-free latch that prevents snags and ensures a secure connection, streamlining moves, adds, and changes.

Compatibility

This patch cord is designed to meet or exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 and ISO 11801 Class E performance requirements. It supports 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet) and 100BASE-T (Fast Ethernet) network speeds, as well as various ATM and digital video applications. It is also rated to support IEEE 802.3bt types 3 and 4 (PoE++) for up to 24 cables in a bundle, making it suitable for powering network devices like IP cameras and wireless access points.
