Overview
The Panduit UTP28SP25BL is a 25-foot, 28 AWG, Category 6 unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) patch cord designed for high-speed data networks. Its compact 0.150-inch diameter and CM/LSZH rating make it suitable for installations requiring plenum-rated cable or where space is constrained. The integrated RapidID barcode system streamlines network management and port mapping, reducing deployment time.
Compatibility
This patch cord supports Ethernet 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T (Fast Ethernet), 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet), and 10GBASE-T over limited distances. It is also compatible with 155 Mb/s and 622 Mb/s ATM, and digital video transmission. The UTP28SP25BL is wired to T568A and T568B schemes and meets or exceeds ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 standards. It supports IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt (type 3 and type 4) Power over Ethernet (PoE++) applications, ensuring sufficient power delivery for connected devices without compromising network performance.
Installation Notes
Constructed with stranded 28 AWG copper conductors, this cable offers flexibility for routing in tight spaces. The tangle-free latch on the modular plugs prevents snags during installation and ensures a secure connection, simplifying moves, adds, and changes. The CM/LSZH (CM/Low Smoke Zero Halogen) flammability rating meets safety requirements for many commercial and enterprise environments.
