Overview
The Panduit UTP28SP3YL is a 3-foot Cat 6 patch cord, constructed with 28 AWG stranded copper and a CM/LSZH yellow jacket. Its compact 3.8mm diameter simplifies management in high-density racks and enclosures, while the tangle-free latch ensures easy release. This cable is 100% performance tested for wire map, NEXT, and return loss, exceeding ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 standards up to 250 MHz.
Compatibility
This patch cord supports IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt (Type 3 and Type 4) Power over Ethernet (PoE++) applications, delivering up to 60W or 100W depending on the specific PoE standard and switch capabilities. It is suitable for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T, 1000BASE-T, and 10GBASE-T Ethernet networks, as well as ATM, Token Ring, and digital video transmission. The cable meets ANSI/TIA-1096-A and IEC 60603-7 standards.
Installation Notes
The cable features a patented tangle-free latch that prevents snags during installation and removal, streamlining moves, adds, and changes.
