Overview

The Panduit UTPCH3BUY is a 3-foot Cat 5e UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) stranded copper patch cord, finished in blue. This cable is constructed with 24 AWG conductors and features Pan-Net® construction. Its primary application is for reliable data transmission in Ethernet networks up to Gigabit speeds, as well as voice systems. The integrated tangle-free latch on the modular plug simplifies moves, adds, and changes by preventing snags and ensuring a secure, yet easy, release. Pre-installed RapidID barcodes facilitate efficient port mapping with compatible software, crucial for large-scale deployments and network management.

Compatibility

This Panduit UTPCH3BUY patch cord supports a wide range of networking and voice applications, including Ethernet 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T (Fast Ethernet), and 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet). It is also compatible with 155 Mb/s and 622 Mb/s ATM, Token Ring (4/16 Mbps), and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) systems. The cable is wired to support both T568A and T568B termination schemes, ensuring broad compatibility with standard network infrastructure.
