The ACTi Z316 is a 2MP mini bullet camera engineered for installations where space constraints and visual discretion matter — entrances, retail corridors, warehouse overheads, and retrofit projects where standard housings won't fit. The Z316 delivers clear, color detail during the day and maintains surveillance continuity at night through integrated adaptive infrared and WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) to handle mixed-light scenes without glare washout. IP68 rating means complete dust protection and submersion capability, making it suitable for both protected indoor mounts and exterior deployments. Built-in microphone captures ambient audio for incident documentation. Power via standard PoE (802.3af) eliminates the need for separate power infrastructure.
Compatibility
The Z316 integrates into any PoE-enabled network infrastructure: managed switches with PoE budgets ≥13W per port, hybrid NVR systems with ONVIF Profile S support, and VMS platforms accepting H.265 or H.264 streams. Compact 2MP output suits environments where bandwidth constraints exist or where higher megapixel cameras would exceed network capacity. Works with standard PoE injectors for non-PoE switches. The fixed 2.8mm lens (f/2.0, 108.6° horizontal field of view) is optimized for general surveillance; not suitable for long-range or narrow-field applications.
