Compatibility
The HPS screws are compatible with any rack enclosure or open-frame rack using standard 10-32 threaded rail inserts — the dominant thread standard in AV, broadcast, and network infrastructure. Installation Notes
Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver or PH2 bit. Truss-head geometry provides a wider bearing surface than pan-head screws, which distributes clamping load across rack ear flanges and reduces the risk of deforming thin sheet-metal ears on 1U equipment. Hand-start threads before applying torque to avoid cross-threading tapped rail inserts. Do not overtorque — 10-32 rack rail inserts are typically tapped into thin steel and will strip if driven past snug.
