Overview

The Comnet PS-AMR4-24 is a 24VDC 60-watt DIN rail–mounted power supply designed for surveillance and access-control installations where space on the panel is tight and high-temperature tolerance is required. It delivers 2.5A at 24VDC output — sufficient to feed multiple IP cameras, encoders, and field devices from a single supply in small-to-medium installations. Mount it directly to standard 35mm DIN rail and leave the engineering-grade power handling to the supply; this unit is built to sit in equipment closets and harsh environments without derating.

Compatibility

The PS-AMR4-24 works with any 24VDC surveillance camera, encoder, access-control reader, or field device. Common pairings include Comnet turrets and compact IP cameras, analog-to-IP converter modules, long-distance PoE injectors, and industrial access-control hardware. If your system runs on 24VDC nominal and draws under 2.5A aggregate, this supply will handle it. Verify your total load before installation — stacked high-inrush devices (like solenoids or multiple IR illuminators) may spike beyond sustained 2.5A briefly.

Installation Notes

Mount the PS-AMR4-24 directly to 35mm DIN rail using the integral clips — no extra hardware needed. Verify that your enclosure can accommodate a 60W supply's heat dissipation, especially in confined spaces or warm climates. The high-temperature rating supports operation in uncontrolled equipment rooms; if mounted in a sealed electrical box with other heat sources, consider additional ventilation. Bring 24VDC input and 24VDC output leads directly to the supply terminals; use appropriate gauge wire for the current draw (minimum 14 AWG for 2.5A runs under 100 feet).
