The Comnet PS-AMR3-24 is a 24VDC, 36-watt DIN rail-mounted power supply designed for fixed-installation surveillance systems and industrial control applications. This supply delivers 1.5A at 24VDC — sufficient to power mid-range network cameras, network-based door controllers, or pan-tilt-zoom heads that draw up to 36W on the 24VDC rail. DIN rail mounting eliminates the need for separate wall or panel brackets, streamlining integration into standard electrical enclosures and reducing installation labor.
The PS-AMR3-24 works with any 24VDC surveillance device or access control component rated for 24VDC input. Common compatible loads include Comnet network cameras, IP-based door access readers, electronic door strikes, and motorized lens controllers on select PTZ cameras. Check your camera or controller datasheet for 24VDC power input and verify the total current draw does not exceed 1.5A (36W ÷ 24V). Daisy-chaining multiple low-current devices on the same supply is common — total load must remain under 36W.
Mount directly onto a standard DIN rail (35mm) inside an electrical enclosure or control cabinet. Connect 24VDC output terminals to the positive and negative inputs of your surveillance devices using appropriate gauge wire — verify wire ampacity matches the circuit load (typically 14–12 AWG for runs under 100 feet). Ensure the enclosure provides adequate ventilation; the power supply is rated for high-temperature environments but will generate heat under full load. Input voltage should be verified before connection; mismatch will damage the supply. Install an appropriate DC breaker or fuse on the input side of the power supply for circuit protection.
