Description

Comnet PS24-1A-DIN DIN Rail Mount Power Supply

Overview

The Comnet PS24-1A-DIN is a compact 24VDC industrial power supply rated for 1.3A output (30W max) on a single DIN rail. It's built to feed managed network switches, industrial Ethernet devices, and surveillance peripherals in cabinet or field-mounted enclosures where you need clean, regulated power from standard 100–240VAC mains without a separate wall supply. This is the foundation piece for integrating PoE and non-PoE devices into a distributed surveillance or access control system.

Compatibility

Works with any 24VDC device rated up to 1.3A continuous — including Comnet managed Ethernet switches, industrial fiber media converters, and compatible auxiliary equipment. If you're powering multiple devices from a single supply, verify the sum of their draw does not exceed 30W; exceeding that rating will trigger internal protection and shut the output down. Pairs naturally with Comnet switch families and edge devices in rack or field deployments.

Installation Notes

Mount directly to standard DIN rail (35mm top-hat profile). Input accepts 100–240VAC, 47–63Hz (universal voltage), tolerating typical facility power swings without adjustment. Output accuracy is ±1% of nominal 24VDC — tight enough for sensitive electronics. Operating range extends –40°C to +85°C, so it handles unheated outdoor cabinets and hot mechanical rooms. Class II double insulation eliminates the need for a grounding conductor, simplifying wiring in some installations. Conducted/radiated EMI complies with EN55022 Class A, UL1310 Class 2, and carries UL508 listing for industrial control panels.
