Overview

The XS724EM-200NAS is a 24-port 10G/Multi-Gig Ethernet switch designed for data-intensive environments — AI training clusters, video ingest nodes, high-speed camera arrays, and redundant storage backhauls. Each port delivers up to 10 Gbps native throughput; Multi-Gig ports auto-negotiate down to 2.5G or 5G for mixed-speed infrastructure. This solves the bottleneck in deployments where you have gigabit-constrained edge devices feeding 10G aggregation — no reshuffling of cabling, no oversubscription penalties.

Compatibility

The XS724EM-200NAS integrates into any standard Ethernet infrastructure: servers, NAS appliances, GPU nodes, camera recorders, and managed switching fabrics. RJ-45 ports accept both 10GBASE-T (CAT6A or better cabling) and legacy gigabit devices via auto-negotiation — plug a 1G camera or a 2.5G PoE recorder into the same switch without reconfiguration. Works in stacked or standalone configurations; supports VLAN segmentation for network isolation between analytics, storage, and management traffic.

Installation Notes

Standard rack or flat-surface mounting; requires 110–240V AC power input. All 24 ports are line-rate non-blocking, so no port prioritization needed during installation. Use CAT6A or better for 10G runs; older CAT5e works for Multi-Gig fallback at 2.5G. No special tools required beyond standard RJ-45 crimping and a rack rail kit (not included).
