Middle Atlantic EB2 2U Flanged Blank Rack Panel

Overview

The Middle Atlantic EB2 is a 2-rack-unit (3.5 in.) flanged blank panel for standard 19-inch equipment racks. It fills unused RU slots in open-frame and enclosed racks — blocking airflow bypass paths that degrade cooling efficiency and closing gaps that create cable-access vulnerabilities in secured equipment rooms. The EB2 ships as a single unit, which keeps small-quantity orders practical for finishing out a partially populated rack without sourcing a full pack. At 0.52 in. deep and built from steel with a flat black powder coat finish, it sits flush with rack-mounted equipment and matches standard rack aesthetics.

Compatibility

Fits any EIA-standard 19-inch rack accepting flanged blank panels — including Middle Atlantic BGR, ERK, PD, and WRK series enclosures, as well as third-party 19-in. open-frame and enclosed server racks and enclosures with standard square-hole or round-hole rails. The 2-mounting-point flanged design is compatible with both 10-32 and 12-24 rack rail threads when used with the appropriate screws (not included). This panel does not include a cable management channel — for slots requiring pass-through, pair with a vented or grommet-style blank instead.

Installation Notes

The EB2 mounts via 2 points — one at each side flange. Confirm your rail spacing matches standard 19-in. EIA-310-D before ordering; non-standard (23-in. or ETSI-300) rails will not accept this panel. No tools beyond a standard screwdriver are required. Mounting screws and cage nuts are not included.
