Overview

The ACTi E11A is a compact 1MP fixed cube designed for indoor surveillance where space and budget constraints matter more than megapixel count. The 74dB WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) handles mixed-lighting scenes—bright hallways with dark corners, reception areas with backlit windows—without losing detail in either the highlights or shadows. At 1MP (1280×800 effective pixels), the E11A delivers 700 horizontal TV lines, sufficient for room-level monitoring, hallway verification, and general activity detection across typical office, retail, or facility environments. The fixed 4.2mm lens (f/1.8 color minimum illumination: 0.1 lux) and interchangeable CS-mount design allow lens swaps without camera removal, useful if you need to tighten or widen the field of view after initial installation. Power and network arrive via a single PoE Class 2 (802.3af) connection—no separate power supply required. The compact cube chassis (0.53 lb) fits ceiling tiles, confined wall mounts, and corner installations where dome or bullet forms would be obtrusive.

Compatibility

The E11A integrates with any ONVIF-compliant VMS, NVR, or management platform supporting ONVIF Profile S, Profile G, Profile T, and Profile Q. This includes Milestone, Axis Camera Station, Hikvision, Uniview, and vendor-neutral recorders. H.264 and MJPEG codec support ensures compatibility with legacy and modern recording infrastructure. Standard RJ-45 Ethernet delivers both video and power on one cable. Built-in 2-way audio (microphone and line-out) integrates with VMS systems that support audio event correlation and two-way intercom. Manual GPS position tagging is supported for multi-location site management where geographic metadata is logged with events.

Operating temperature range is −10°C to 45°C (14°F to 113°F)—suitable for climate-controlled indoor facilities but not outdoor or unheated spaces. Confirm PoE injector or switch port delivers 802.3af power; the E11A draws Class 2 power budget (typical under 13W). CS-mount lens removal requires only hand pressure—no tools needed for lens swaps. CE, FCC, and EAC approvals confirm regulatory compliance for EU, North American, and Eurasian markets.
