Overview

The Panduit UTP28SP1MGR is a 1-meter, Cat 6 UTP patch cord designed for high-density network environments. Its 28 AWG stranded copper construction and compact 0.150-inch (3.8mm) diameter simplify cable management in racks and patch panels. The green CM/LSZH jacket offers a balance of performance and safety for plenum spaces. This cord supports up to 100W Power over Ethernet (PoE++), making it suitable for powering devices like IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones directly over the network cable.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 and ISO 11801 Class E standards up to 250 MHz. It is compatible with all standard RJ45 modular plug interfaces and supports T568A/T568B wiring schemes. It is suitable for Ethernet applications including 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T, 1000BASE-T, and 10GBASE-T over limited distances. It also supports ATM and token ring applications, as well as digital video transmission. The cord's PoE++ (802.3bt) support ensures compatibility with devices requiring up to 100W of power.
