Overview
The Panduit QuickNet™ FQXN-12-10U is a 12-fiber cassette designed for high-density fiber optic patching. It terminates 50/125µm OM3 multimode fiber, offering a reliable connection point within Panduit fiber enclosures. This cassette utilizes a universal wiring method, simplifying deployment and management in data center or enterprise network backbones where structured cabling is critical. Its black housing integrates cleanly into standard rack-mount fiber panels.
Compatibility
This cassette is engineered for use with Panduit QuickNet™ fiber optic system enclosures and panels. It features duplex LC connectors on the front, compatible with standard LC patch cords, and a male MPO-12 connector on the rear, designed to interface with MPO trunk cables or other MPO-based infrastructure components. It is specifically designed for OM3 fiber, supporting 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 300 meters and 40/100 Gigabit Ethernet up to 100 meters.
Installation Notes
The cassette requires a standard rack-mount fiber enclosure or panel that supports MPO-12 interfaces. The MPO-12 male connector requires a corresponding female MPO connector on the connecting cable or trunk. Ensure the connecting patch cords are OM3 rated to maintain system performance. The ceramic zirconia material used in the connectors offers durability and precise alignment for low-loss optical connections.
