Overview
The PDT-1015C-NS is a thin, low-profile vertical power distribution unit delivering a single 15-amp circuit across 10 NEMA 5-15R outlets — purpose-built for rack enclosures where horizontal PDU width would consume valuable 1U slots. At 1.58 inches wide and just under 38 inches tall, the PDT-1015C-NS mounts vertically inside the rack cavity rather than occupying rackmount spaces, keeping your equipment bays free for active gear. The aluminum chassis keeps weight low without sacrificing structural rigidity in vibration-prone environments like equipment rooms and field-deployed enclosures. The 9-foot, 14 AWG power cord with NEMA 5-15P plug reaches standard 120V AC branch circuits without extension cables. No surge protection is included — if transient protection is a requirement, pair this strip with an upstream surge-protected line conditioner or UPS in the same rack.
Compatibility
Designed for Middle Atlantic rack enclosures and any standard EIA-310 open-frame or enclosed rack accepting vertical-mount PDUs with a 37.75-inch usable depth channel. Compatible with Middle Atlantic's rack enclosure product line including the ERK, BGR, and DTRK series that feature the rear vertical PDU channel. Also fits third-party 2-post and 4-post open-frame racks where vertical mounting rails or side channels accommodate the 1.58-inch width profile. Each of the 10 NEMA 5-15R outlets supports standard 120V AC equipment — suitable for network switches, NVRs, IP cameras via PoE injectors, access control panels, and other security infrastructure drawing from a single 15-amp circuit. Note: the single circuit means total connected load must stay below 15A (1,800W); plan accordingly when populating all 10 outlets.
Installation Notes
Mount vertically in the rear PDU channel of compatible Middle Atlantic racks using the integrated mounting provisions on the aluminum chassis. Verify your rack's vertical channel accepts the 1.58-inch PDU width before ordering. Total circuit load across all 10 outlets must not exceed 15 amps — map connected device draw during planning to avoid tripping the branch circuit breaker under full load. The 14 AWG, 9-foot cord routes directly to a standard 120V NEMA 5-15 wall or PDU receptacle; no adapter required for standard North American branch circuits.
