Description

CyberPower CP900AVR Line Interactive UPS

Overview

The CyberPower CP900AVR is a 900VA/560W line-interactive uninterruptible power supply (UPS) designed to protect sensitive electronics from power surges, brownouts, and blackouts. Its mini-tower form factor and simulated sine wave output make it suitable for workstations, networking devices, and home entertainment systems where consistent power is critical. This unit features Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to correct minor fluctuations without switching to battery, extending battery life and ensuring stable output voltage (120 VAC ± 5%). The CP900AVR is ENERGY STAR qualified, indicating its efficiency in power consumption.

Compatibility

This UPS is designed to support a range of devices including desktop computers, workstations, network switches, routers, modems, and home entertainment equipment. It is compatible with systems requiring standard 120 VAC input power. The 10 NEMA 5-15R outlets are divided into 5 battery backup + surge protection outlets and 5 surge-only outlets, allowing prioritization of critical devices. It also includes RJ45 Ethernet and RG6 coaxial surge protection to safeguard network and video signals.

Installation Notes

The CP900AVR operates within an input voltage range of 88-144 VAC and has an output capacity of 900 VA / 560 W. It requires a standard NEMA 5-15P plug connection. Runtime is approximately 5 minutes at full load (560W) and 16 minutes at half load (280W). The unit's operating temperature range is 32-104°F (0-40°C). It features a USB HID port for connection to a host computer, enabling the included PowerPanel Personal software for graceful shutdowns and monitoring.
