Overview

The Middle Atlantic UQFP-4RA-I/O is a 2RU active fan panel that moves 100 CFM of air through equipment racks — purpose-built for rack thermal management in AV, security, and IT enclosures running heat-generating gear like NVRs, encoders, and amplifiers. The UQFP-4RA-I/O operates on 120V AC input and outputs 5 VDC to the internal fan array, drawing from a standard rack PDU. At 2RU tall and 19 inches wide, it drops straight into any standard EIA-310 rack without modification. The brushed, anodized black finish matches Middle Atlantic rack aesthetics and holds up in data-closet and control-room environments alike. This is an active (powered) component — not passive ventilation — so it delivers consistent airflow regardless of chassis convection.

Compatibility

Designed to integrate with Middle Atlantic rack enclosures and any standard 19-inch EIA-310 equipment rack. Compatible with Middle Atlantic BGR, ERK, PD, and similar open-frame and enclosed rack series that accept 2RU accessories. Works alongside Middle Atlantic rack power distribution units and thermal management accessories. The 120V AC input is US-market only — confirmed not available for international voltage ranges. Installation Notes

Mounts in 2 rack units with 2 mounting points — verify you have consecutive open RU space above or below heat-producing equipment. The fan panel is DC-internal (5 VDC drive) but presents as a standard AC load externally, so no DC wiring is required at the installer level. No thermistor or display is included — airflow runs continuously at full speed with no onboard thermal control.
