Ubiquiti UTP-TOUCH Desktop VoIP Phone
Overview
The Ubiquiti UTP-TOUCH (MPN: UTP-TOUCH) is a PoE-powered desktop VoIP endpoint designed for UniFi Talk deployments. The 5-inch capacitive touch display eliminates the learning curve for end-users accustomed to smartphone interfaces. It draws 8W exclusively through Power over Ethernet—no separate power adapters—reducing cable clutter and simplifying network deployments across multi-site facilities. The device is purpose-built for organizations standardizing on UniFi Talk as their unified communications backbone, eliminating the need for proprietary PBX hardware or legacy telephony infrastructure.
Compatibility
The UTP-TOUCH integrates exclusively with Ubiquiti UniFi Talk environments. Management and provisioning occur through the UniFi Application Suite; no standalone configuration needed. The dual Gigabit Ethernet ports support daisy-chaining to adjacent network devices, allowing you to reduce switch port consumption in rack-dense deployments. Built-in 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WiFi provides wireless fallback connectivity if hardwired deployment becomes impractical.
Technical Specifications
The device houses an octa-core ARM Cortex A53 processor paired with 32GB onboard storage, providing sufficient computational resources for call handling, local call logs, and application caching without external dependencies. A single mute button handles basic call control; full feature access (conference, transfer, hold, voicemail) routes through the UniFi Talk app. The plastic enclosure with aluminum base measures 166 × 140 × 183 mm and weighs 1.1 kg, delivering a professional desktop footprint. Operating range spans 0–40°C, suitable for standard office, retail, and light-industrial environments.
Installation Notes
Confirm your PoE switch can allocate 8W per endpoint. Gigabit PoE (802.3at or higher) is recommended to avoid power budget strain in larger deployments. The UTP-TOUCH requires network connectivity to a UniFi controller or UniFi Cloud Access running UniFi Talk services; offline operation is not supported.
