Overview
The Ubiquiti UACC-RACK-42U-1000-G is a fully assembled 42U floor-standing rack cabinet built from SPCC steel with 1mm main body gauge and 2mm corner posts. It arrives ready to deploy — no assembly labor on-site. The cabinet accepts standard 19-inch rack-mount equipment and supports 800kg static load capacity, meeting density requirements for network closets, server rooms, and edge infrastructure deployments running Ubiquiti networking and security gear. NDAA-compliant construction qualifies this enclosure for federal and government-contracted installations.
Compatibility
The UACC-RACK-42U-1000-G accommodates any standard 19-inch EIA/ECA-310-E rack-mount equipment. Typical deployment scenarios include Ubiquiti EdgeMax routers, UniFi networking switches, UniFi Dream Machine NVRs, and Ubiquiti access points paired with network power infrastructure. The cabinet's adjustable mounting depth (default 652.3mm, expandable to 877.3mm with 15mm pitch adjustment) fits both shallow equipment and deeper modular systems. Four-post enclosed design with removable side panels enables flexible cable routing and airflow management for mixed equipment densities.
Installation Notes
Floor stand mounting requires leveling stands and optional lockable casters (included). Maximum rolling capacity is 320kg — load-balance before moving. Front door is tempered glass with left-hand outswing (reversible) for equipment access; rear solid door is also reversible. Cabinet interconnect, grounding lugs, and fan module provisions are included. Floor anchor points secure the unit against tipping. Cable entry is managed through four cable openings (top and bottom, 335 x 52.5mm each). Security includes front/rear door locks plus eight side panel locks with three keys supplied. Confirm floor load rating supports 92.4kg cabinet weight plus equipment payload before final placement.
