Ubiquiti UA-G3-SK-GATE Gate Access Control Starter Kit
The UA-G3-SK-GATE is a pre-assembled access control bundle for single-gate or dual-door deployments (one gate, one side door). It pairs the UniFi Access Hub with an integrated G3 Intercom and PoE++ power delivery — solving the common integration headache of sourcing compatible controllers and power infrastructure separately. If you're installing credential-based entry at a parking facility, office compound perimeter, or multitenant community gate, this kit ships ready to configure and deploy.
Overview
The system delivers five 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet ports for network connectivity and device expansion. Four of those ports supply PoE++ output at 50V DC, rated 30W per port with a 55W aggregate ceiling — enough to run the bundled intercom plus one additional PoE access device without a separate injector. The hub itself draws 22W without PoE output, scaling to 60W when delivering power to downstream equipment. Polycarbonate enclosure rated IP65 protects against dust and moisture ingress — suitable for outdoor gate installations provided you pair it with a waterproof junction box. DIN-rail mounting (included) fits standard electrical cabinets. Operates across -30 to 60°C, NDAA-compliant, certified to UL 294 destructive attack Level I and line security Level I.
Compatibility
Works with any UniFi Access credential reader (card, mobile, NFC) and the included G3 Intercom. The hub supports up to 6,000 user accounts and controls one gate plus one side door via dedicated relay outputs. Digital inputs accommodate gate position, gate exit request, side door position, and side door exit request signals. Two dry relay outputs (rated 30V DC, up to 1A each) drive gate and auxiliary operators; one powered relay (12V DC, 1A) controls side-door lock solenoids. Integrates with UniFi Access management software running on any UniFi CloudKey or UDM Pro appliance.
Installation Notes
Cable runs to electric locks should observe AWG gauge and distance limits: 24 AWG supports 25 m, 22 AWG supports 42 m, 20 AWG supports 66 m. The PoE++ input requires 50V DC at 1A (power supply included). Relay contacts rated for 30V DC dry switching; verify your gate operator and lock solenoid voltage match. Emergency power input accepts PoE++ for failsafe operation during AC loss. ESD protection rated ±8kV air, ±4kV contact, protecting intercom and reader connections from static discharge.
