TSC PEL-ML240-0001 Peel-Off Module for ML240P

Overview

The PEL-ML240-0001 is a wired peel-off module that converts a TSC ML240P label printer into an automatic label dispenser — the printer strips backing paper from each label as it prints instead of feeding out a continuous liner strip. This matters on any line where an operator or applicator needs a bare, ready-to-apply label presented one at a time rather than a roll of labels still stuck to their backing. It installs as an add-on module rather than a standalone unit, wiring directly into the host printer's peel sensor interface so the printer knows to hold the next label until the current one is removed.

Compatibility

Built specifically for the TSC ML240P and ML340P series thermal transfer printers. It is not a universal peel-off kit — confirm your printer is the ML240P/ML340P model before ordering, since TSC's desktop and industrial lines (DA-series, TE-series, TX-series, MB/MH-series) use different peel mechanisms and mounting points that this module does not fit.

Installation Notes

Connects via a wired interface to the host printer, and is intended for label media specifically — running peel-off mode on non-label (tag or ticket) stock defeats the purpose of the module since there is no backing liner to strip. Standard installation is at the print head/exit path of the ML240P chassis.
