Overview

The TL-WN725N is a compact USB 2.0 wireless adapter that adds 802.11n connectivity to systems without built-in WiFi. The nano form factor—measuring just 0.73 x 0.59 x 0.28 inches—fits systems with tight port spacing: laptops in docking stations, compact PCs in network cabinets, or edge compute devices where a full-size adapter would block adjacent ports. Operating temperature range 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F) — keep within these limits to avoid link dropout or driver instability. For sustained throughput, position the adapter away from microwave ovens and cordless phones operating on 2.4GHz. Not recommended as the primary link for continuous surveillance recording or mission-critical workflows—prioritize wired Ethernet or 802.11ac/ax for production deployments.
