Overview

Unlike unmanaged switches, the TL-SG105E includes port-based and tag-based VLAN support, IGMP Snooping, and QoS prioritization. This matters in practice: VLAN segmentation isolates camera traffic from administrative networks, preventing bandwidth competition; IGMP Snooping stops multicast flooding from degrading real-time video performance; and QoS guarantees surveillance streams dedicated bandwidth even when office traffic spikes.
